Before I started working with Caleb 8 months ago, I was 5 months into my fitness journey and struggling to find a routine that I could stick with. I thought I was doing everything correctly- eating clean and doing cardio overload. It got to the point where I was stressing myself out every time I went to the gym vs being a therapeutic/mental reset. Having started with Caleb 7 months ago, I had just taken a job sitting behind a desk for 8 hours a day… and with that came an extra 27 pounds. I had lost weight previously, but had decided to change my course of action. Consistency was needed when it came to exercise and eating properly. I decided to start weight training with Caleb, and it has opened the door to so much more. Some of the results that I have achieved in my time with him are: losing 18 pounds, lost 3 inches off my chest, 5 inches off my waist, and numerous inches off my arms and legs. I’ve pushed my body to do things that I never thought I could do, and with that came confidence and mental clarity. Caleb has shown me how to properly use the exercise machines, taught me an effective eating plan, and took into account my knee problems and lower back issues. With his years of knowledge and background in sports medicine he has helped me to strengthen the muscles around my problem areas - and because of this I have no more knee or back pain! I have always struggled with maintaining a healthy weight. I have tried almost all diets out there & have lost weight while following the plan. Keeping the weight off was another story. Finally, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s (Hypothyroidism). I thought this was it, a little pill added to my diet & exercise program would get me to lose weight! Wrong, it helped but I still had to continue to change my diet & type of exercise for a continuous weight loss. 5 years of exercise, changing dosage on my Synthroid, following the keto diet, switching to low card, low fat diet, taking breaks, times of tears & wanting to give up, finally in 2022 I hit my 55 lbs. lost!!! I wanted to lose a little more and be strong enough to do “household” projects. Thanks to Caleb for putting up with me this past year and my struggles, excuses, & setbacks, he never gave up and always has a positive outlook. I turned 52 in December 2023, and I am in the best shape of my life! I didn’t know I could have these muscles and lift the amount of weight I do. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have found Caleb and be a part of Kennedy Sports Performance. He really knows what he is doing and will get you to the level of fitness you desire, and maybe even further.

**Flash back Friday**
Another raw unfiltered picture of me right when I officially started with Caleb Kennedy in January and then today. 😳🫣 I am ridiculously hard on myself (like really, really hard!) and I am literally my own worst enemy, but to see these pictures back to back actually made me feel pretty good! I have worked my @ss off to get where I am today. I am starting to love “me” again. I needed to find myself again as I would always put everyone else’s needs ahead of me. (Plus, I always made excuses). Going to the gym and being with the 6am crew is exactly what I needed!
I never thought I could go back to pre-kids / pre-marriage body, but here I am working towards it. ☺️💪🏼

“We met Caleb 3 year ago. He struck us as an asset to any athlete wanting to improve their form or anyone desiring to become more fit. Little did we know that barely scraped the surface.
